For a lot of you, they were never “out.” But if you’re like me, you hung up your white tasseled cowboy boots when you were in first grade.
I won’t lie. I am not a cowboy boot girl. I’m not much of a country girl. Yet I picked up and moved to Nashville. Crazy, right?
You can’t walk 50 feet without running into a boot shop in this city.
You think I’m kidding, but this is a tiny screenshot of downtown Nashville when you search “cowboy boot shops.”
This is just between 1st Avenue and 5th Avenue. Let that sink in.
I don’t own cowboy boots because…in all honesty, I don’t really have anything to style them with.
Or at least, I didn’t.
I never thought they fit my style.
But cowboy boots are making a HUGE comeback. And they are being styled with everything.
If you think I’m talking crazy, just check out this article from Glamour…
And this one from Bazaar…
Now these are all talking about how big cowboy boots are going to be for the fall, but let’s be real, if it’s going to be popular in the fall, it’s going to be popular for the winter (hello oversized sweaters!).
So we’re going to recommend you get yourself a pair of cowboy boots and starts learning how to match them with your current wardrobe. Whether you’re a country girl or a city girl, cowboy boots are now a fashion staple in any outfit.
And if you’re unsure about the trend, don’t worry. You don’t have to go out and buy multiple pairs to match multiple outfits. Start with a simple, classic pair, of your color preference (black and cognac work well with just about everything). You’ll be able to wear this one pair with a lot of outfits, but if you feel the need to mix it up some, grab one of our boot belts (WAAAAY cheaper than buying multiple pairs of boots) and throw that on to match even more outfits.
